CHASING DREAMS

Hello beautiful people and hello beautiful world! I am back again after long hiatus. But this time I want to be more visible as always. I missed blogging a lot but as I am preparing for the most important event of my life I always have a hard time writing blogs. In a few weeks I know I will be pre-occupied again but I wanted to share to all of you a little bit of my thoughts, opinions and life.

Life is precious and we should always be positive about it. I just want to be happy. I am not perfect in fact I am very far from that. I always commit mistakes but at the end of the day I thought about the lessons it teaches me. Happiness is a choice and I chose to be one. I am not saying that negative thoughts never ever cross my mind, it does, many times but I chose to let it go by praying and thinking of happy thoughts and positive things. Continue reading

HOW I CHOSE MY WEDDING GOWN

Hello beautiful people! Hello planet earth! πŸ™‚ It’s June and we always thought JUNE about one thing WEDDINGS! wedding here and there, wedding everywhere! I love weddings! but of course more than wedding I love my beautiful married life. πŸ™‚

I got married twice already (in Italy and Philippines) of course to the same man and I want to have an altar date with him over and over again. Everytime I get to witness or see wedding I wish to get married again and again.

One of the most important thing for the bride is about her wedding gown after all it is her BIG DAY. It’ s every girls dream to be a princess for a day right?

Choosing your wedding gown can be really stressfull. Unless, you already pictured the wedding gown you wanted to wear ever since you were a child. πŸ™‚ But as we grow older, things change and we often change our mind too (ah! women). πŸ˜‰ The best advise I can give is as long as you know yourself more, the easier it will be. Your wedding gown shows your personality. The moment that you already found the right man for you means you already know yourself more. If you already knew me, you can even choose the right wedding gown for me. I have a bubbly personality the one that laughs like there’s no tomorrow.

RTW WEDDING GOWN. Yes, I wore a RTW wedding gown from France. The moment I saw the wedding gown at the wedding shop in France, I knew that it is the one for me. Yes, it was “love at first sight” with my wedding gown. I immediately went inside the shop and fit it. Awww, problem it was too big for me and the sad part is they only make one gown for each design. I’m so inlove with the design because I felt that it was meant for me, my personality. Aside from that, it was on sale!!. Seems that the universe is conspiring. You know wedding gowns in Europe can be very expensive. Prices can range from 2000€ or more. Sale is just perfect. Let’s be practical because we still have life after the wedding. How wonderful right? I fitted other gowns but I just can’t let go of my first choice. True love as you call it. I bought it thinking of having it altered to fit me. Indeed, I made the right choice. My tailor did a wonderful job altering it for me and I couldn’t be happier. I wore a Princess Ursula style in Ivory color wedding gown. I had my dream wedding gown on my wedding day. My wedding gown that just me, my personality. πŸ™‚

Here I am on my wedding day. :)

Here I am on my wedding day wearing a RTW Princess Ursula style wedding gown in ivory color from France πŸ™‚

I have pictured my second choice wedding gown. If I have to walk down the altar again with my husband. I would love to wear this Vera Wang mermaid cut gown. They say, mermaid cut is perfect for a slim and tall brides. Luckily, I belong to that category. πŸ™‚ I am so inlove with this. Dreams do come true and one day this will be real. πŸ˜‰

I would love to hear your wedding gown stories. Tell me about it on the comment section.

To all who are getting married this June and for the coming months, I wish you all the luck and blessings in this planet. May you all walk in love and more than the wedding and wedding gowns may you all have the most beautiful married life this planet has to offer.

Weekend is almost here! Cheers!

SPRING OF NEW BEGINNINGS

Hello beautiful people! It’s been a while again. I hope you are all doing great. I have been pre-occupied lately and there are more important reasons why I seldom write a blog lately. I missed blogging a lot and I missed you all. That’s why I’m back.

It’s spring time!!! The weather I always look forward to. You know I only love winter one day or two then I patiently wait for spring. Winter really makes me sad. On the positive note, come to think of it, no matter how long the winter stays, there is always spring in the end. I remember the saying “Behind the clouds, the sun still shine”.

And what’s my new beginnings for spring 2015? First, I have very important beginning to reveal soon. For now, let me hold it for a little suspense but I assure you it is a wonderful blessing. I would share my happiness to all of you the soonest possible.

Aside from my surprise, my other new beginning is my new class that I am teaching. It is an English class for beginners and guess what my students are all professionals. I am very careful about it. Can you imagine I have four accountant students, a banker, a social worker and other professions. It is my pleasure though to teach them English.

Happy Wednesday beautiful people! I just came from the gym and as I’m feeling all sorts of muscle pain right now I sat down and share with you my journey as a bridesmaid or just a wedding guest. I love weddings! Yes, I get so excited everytime I heard someone is getting hitch whether it is a friend or not! I am excited about the details, the themes and the wedding gown of course. As much as possible I don’t wanna missed a friend’s wedding. Before I became a bride, I’ve been to countless weddings. No, I’m not the most sought after bridesmaid or wedding guest haha just that I have so many friends and I love to enjoy their lifetime memories. I enjoyed every wedding I’ve been to.

WISHING ON A FRIDAY

Hello beautiful people! It’s Friday and I hope everyone is having a great time for the Halloween.

Everyday I pray for my biggest wish which is good health for me, my husband, my family and friends and that we will have healthy babies soon… πŸ™‚

But aside from that being a woman makes me wish some little things. I always browse little things in a woman’s mind like bags, shoes, jewelries, clothes etc. A woman has never ending small wishes. But lately my mind is pre-occupied by these two. I wish to have them.

TRICK OT TREAT. I hope to get treat with these wishes of mine. πŸ™‚

First, is this very elegant charriol bangle. Isn’t it so lovely? I am so inlove with this and I really wanted to have one. Plus it has a ring similar to it. Not too expensive and very fashionable. And you can find all the details from their website I put the link below. I am not really fond of jewelries but I just love this one.

THE POWER OF PRAYERS

Today is special. Few days ago my father was hospitalized. As usual we sent rocket of prayers to God and I even asked my close friends to pray for the healing of my father. God answered quickly and today my father is out of the hospital and well.I am thankful to God and to my family and friends who prayed for the good health of my father. What makes it more special is today is the birthday of Mama Mary. Happy Birthday Mama Mary and thank you for the intercession and for always guiding us.

THROAT FOR SINGING

So you are a FILIPINO? You can sing well!!!Your throats are made for singing and belting those high notes! One of the comments I usually get when someone learned that I am a Filipino. To my dismay, I am an exception to that general rule because my friends can tell how bad I am in singing. lol I believe that saying though. I’ve seen a lot of filipino great singers. Why not? One of the ways Flipinos bond is through singing. No occassion will ever be complete and more fun without videoke, karaoke whatever you call it. There will always be a singing engagement. Would you believe even in wake, some people still sing to keep the mood light.

To date, Filipino singers are all over, they are all over the world. Recently, I’ve watched some video clips of Filipinos all over the world for auditions in the THE VOICE, X- FACTOR, AMERICAN IDOL etc. I really feel that having a good voice for singing is indeed ordinary for FILIPINOS. But wait! What happened to me? Why I can’t sing like them I am a Filipino as well. Don’t worry even if I can’t sing well I still have space during singing occassions. Sad to say, I belong to the minority haha. I want to share to you some video clips of Filipino’s auditioning in singing contest all over the world and those just singing for their love of singing.

If you happen to be a foreigner visiting the Philippines and the locals invited you (which usually happen) for some bottles of beer for singing in a karaoke or videoke or just around the neighborhood just go for it. It will be a blast! πŸ™‚ absolutely!

Random thoughts on a friday

I’m sorry, I haven’t been blogging lately as I am very much pre-occupied with my summer class in law. It’s ENGLISH COMMON LAW. It’s very interesting and I got my mind moving again with the law language πŸ™‚ I really like law because it’s very challenging. I’m learning a lot since I really want to get to know more of the European legal system. Now, I realized that there’s more of the European Union legalities to exlplore. Aside from my summer class, I’ve been pondering on random things. Maybe, I’m getting old. Hopefully, I’m aging gracefully. Here are my random thoughts lately….

Typhoon. My country particularly my province was hit by the wrath of forceful typhoon last wednesday. I prayed that my families, friends and all the people be spared. Reading news after the typhoon how strong it went is devastating but the hope people is showing is admirable. I admire the resiliency people are showing. But please, we don’t need another typhoon to be called resilient. Living in another country makes me realized how resilient we are back in the Philippines. We always find solutions to problems and we carry a smile in our face no matter how serious the situation. Yes, we keep it cool! πŸ™‚

Dove girl audition

I wanted to share a little secret.I was 21 and freshman in law school. Dove launched their search for a new tv ad dove girl. I don’t know what entered my mind. Despite coping up as a freshman law student I joined the search. lol I read all the mechanics and all I can remember is that I submitted a wallet size photos of different angles, whole body, half body, smiling, not smiling, etc… It is for testimonial advertisement saga. Thanks to ely’s studio that time. haha I also submitted an essay about why they should choose me to be the next dove girl. Another essay on why I use dove and why dove makes me beautiful? I can’t remember what I wrote on those essays but I can still remember my entry on why dove makes me beautiful.
